About Sara Preisler
Jewellery by Sara Preisler is essentially sculputure with a function. Each piece of jewellery in the Sara Preisler collections provokes the idea that, though each of us are based on the same model, (the human form), we are in some way unique.
The forms and textures used by Sara Preisler in each piece echo the wood carver's chisel, in repeating bold and minimal forms, she often reveals defined sculptural elements; carved identities, each in their own right echoing the wearer as being in their own irreplaceable essence.
To Sara Preisler, the importance of her collections is in expressing the individual wearer's spirit and beauty, allowing ownership of something unique and especially part of every one.
