We've had the pleasure of working
with Kokkino since the early days of Plush
Jewellery. Their good-humour and ability to
cope with every request we throw at them has
given us a great working relationship.
Kokkino's workshop is based in the centre
of England, Worcestershire to be exact - where
all their design and production is carried
out. Over the last five years they have become
a well known and trusted brand and company.
Every Kokkino collection of contemporary jewellery
includes silver with vitreous enamel or gold
and silver combinations.
Using Kiln Fired Enamelling in their jewellery
gives Kokkino a unique position as there are
currently very few contemporary jewellery
enamellers. This skill is exact and very uncompromising.
The enamelling process takes time and care,
each piece being kiln fired at 1000 deg Cel.
An old and traditional skill.
All Kokkino jewellery designs are wearable
modern classics. Simplicity in styling makes
each piece versatile, striking and feminine,
they are impossible to resist.
Kokkino is the brain child of Melanie and
Chay, and together with their hard work and
dedication a good new designer jewellery company
has been founded.
