Kate Smith trained at
Stourbridge
College of Art and Design before completing
a degree in Jewellery
Design at Middlesex University.
After working with numerous other contemporary designer/makers
whilst living in London, she moved back to the Midlands
to take inspiration from her countryside surroundings
of Shropshire and to set up her own jewellery business
in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
Kate Smith has been showing her Precious and Patterned
collections of contemporary jewellery at Plush Jewellery
since Spring 2008, these collections feature precious
metals set with diamonds (All diamonds are conflict
free, guaranteed by the British
Jewellers Association.)
