Hinged Palladium Wedding Band
We were asked to make a sturdy wedding band for a client, the twist in this commission being the request that the ring was hinged. Well, if a bangle can have a hinge and a secure fastening then so can a ring!
The ring was made in Palladium with the clasp and hinge made from 18ct White Gold - a metal that is more flexible than Palladium and therefore the most suitable metal for the job. This hinge and clasp makes the ring easy to put on and take off.
