Emma Atherton set up her
jewellery design and manufacture business in the heart
of Birmingham's renowned Jewellery Quarter. She trained
at The
School of Jewellery in Birmingham, gaining both a
Masters and Bachelors degree in Jewellery & Silversmithing.
Emma's innovative jewellery explores themes of colour,
surface and form. Her pieces are original and exciting,
yet highly wearable.
An affinity with nature provides the basis for Emma's
creative stimulus. She is inspired by curving forms, fluid
lines and exquisite detailing; all of which are abundant
in nature. These qualities give life to her pieces, making
them as pleasing to the touch as to the eye.
"The underlying aim of my jewellery is to evoke a
playful sense of curiosity in those who glimpse it. My
pieces are bright little trinkets that awaken the magpie
in us all... ...they beg a closer look or even a peek
inside!"
We are able to place special orders for other pieces,
