About Dorothy Borland
'Dorothy studied Fashion Design at Galashiels in Scotland and has always had a keen interest in designing and manufacturing in a variety of mediums.
Her latest pieces use Dichroic glass to produce a range of jewellery, each hand crafted to produce a unique design of vibrant colours and patterns. The range splits into two techniques where different fusing temperatures produce either a fully fused piece encased in a glass capping piece or tack fusing which creates a multi dimensional effect standing proud of a piece of backing glass.'
